Today was god damn near gorgeous and perfect, so I couldn't wait to get home and let the dog animals out. I had Eve, Artie, Elsie, Brew, Fox, Keytone, Fred, Bren, Busy, Rachel, Heini, Tune and Joppy all out for about an hour. We went down into the field for a few minutes, but it was so hot that everyone was sluggish and boring. Usually their antics entertain me, but today was in slow motion haha. We mainly hung around the kennel and they all got to be crazy and play in the pools.
We played fetch for a few minutes...well, Fred and Elsie played fetch with me while everyone else just ran around confusedly. Story of my life.
Fred and Keytone need rabies shots and Eve needs to finally finish her baby dog shots....or, more likely, start them over.
I'm excited to see what I can actually do with Fredly this summer. We shall see if she'll actually swim. I hope little Eve monster will figure it out also. Elsie is patiently waiting for me to get her into shape, forget about the other two noncommittal time-wasters and take her to the lake!
